Baron was just a kid who loved playing Team Fortress 2. After school, he'd rush to join a TF2Center lobby, hoping for a fun match and maybe a few new friends.
But one day, in a moment of anger, Baron typed the n-word into team chat.
He didn't think much of it at first. Maybe it was just a joke, maybe he thought nobody would care. The match ended, and so did his account. When he refreshed the page, a message stared back at him:
Permanent Ban.

Maybe someone had reported him. But the report only mattered because of what he'd chosen to say.
That evening, Baron looked at the empty bookmark where TF2Center used to be a daily routine. He realized that a few seconds of anger had cost him a community he genuine
