TF2Center team

Who are these crazy guys?

The concept of TF2Center was born mid-late 2012, and the members of the team have put their free time towards the project since.

Staff team

NetherlandsMasterNoob

Founder, main coder, staff team management, external relations

What started in 2012 as a small side project has evolved into something beyond my wildest dreams. As the main coder, I have written most of TF2Center's backend logic but today, I'm also responsible for the staff team, weekly mod meetings, hiring new developers and overseeing external relations with serveme.tf, etf2l.org, teamfortress.tv and recently scrap.tf. Words cannot express how incredibly proud I am of what we have become: a platform for competitive TF2 for over 80k players. That doesn't mean we can sit back and relax: we have only just started! With so much potential, my ambition is to make this game as great as it can be. Organizing the Archimedes Cup was one of the first major contributions we have made to the TF2 community, and you can expect even more from us this year!

As a friend described my character in traffic: the fact that someone else drives slowly on the fast-lane doesn't mean I'm going to wait for them! We are TF2Center, can you keep up? ;-)

Moderator team

USLuop

Community Moderator / dev

Hello all, I'm Luop. My tag usually confuses people to think my name is 'uop', but I can assure you it's not. I'm a NodeJS and PHP dev, which means I have to deal with [ ] + [ ] = ' ' and { } + [ ] = 0. I help run the bug reports, and am the supreme commander (at least in my mind) in the war against spam bots. (If you asked yourself - 'what spam bots?' - then I have done my job well.) You'll see me around often, so if you need anything, all you need to do is ask.

Hi there. I am a North American moderator. We have an amazing forum that you should check out if you have any questions. If you need immediate help that can't be answered on the forums feel free to add me.

PTSimba

Community Moderator

Hello there everyone, I'm Simba, a lovely lion from Portugal and you'll most definitely find me in European Lobbies almost everyday. I take care of the forums and the main website itself and help keeping it peaceful and free of baddies. If you have any specific questions or just want to say hi, feel free to add me on Steam and ask!

AUnrd.

Community Moderator

G'day! I'm nrd (pronounced 'nerd') from Sydney, Australia, aka. the Land Down Under. I enjoy navigating through TF2C forums and helping out the community wherever I can. I started playing TF2 in 2012 and joined competitive in 2013. As an Australian moderator, I frequently host Lobbies and keep in touch by listening to feedback from other Aussies and the Oceania community. Some players regularly ask why I sometimes don't play my own Lobbies, and this being that I am usually busy studying IT or going out. If you see me on TF2Center, feel free to say hi or shoot me some questions. I'm more than happy to have a chat! Catch ya round!

USMikers

Community Moderator

Hey guys, I'm Mikers, a Floridian in the US! I've been playing TF2 since late 2012, but didn't join the competitive scene until early 2015. I started playing on TF2Center around that time and have had periods of inactivity and high activity on the site. I joined the staff team in May of 2017. If there's ever anything relating to TF2Center that you need help with and I'm not around on the site currently, you're more than welcome to add me on Steam, but I also recommend you check out our forums for further assistance.

Special thanks

RussiaMother Tereza

Former Design, Frontend Wizard

If you like TF2Center, it's probably because of the elegant design and layout. This is the guy who made that all possible... But not just that, very little people know that in the very beginning he also helped setting up the project using his skills as (former) professional Project Manager and Graphic Designer. MT, we couldn't have done it without you and we're sad to see you taking on other priorities today. Thanks for all of your very very hard work, my friend! - MN

UKFoxy

Former devops, infrastructure, community

Foxy has been around from pretty much the early start. He's pretty much all-round: played prem., is a professional dev, helped setting up infrastructure and especially monitoring. On top of that he has been solid on PR for us. He has been an incredible asset to the team and a personal friend as well. - MN

UKJayserp

Former main sponsor, forum management, infrastructure

Jayserp has also been around from the early beginnings. He has a lot of professional experience managing infrastructure and forums. He was also kind enough to let us use his servers during 2014. A true asset to the team; thanks for everything Jay! -MN

FranceZoot

SFM modeling

His work decorates the site header. 9 classes, 9 various characters, 9 unique poses and tons of the sketches thrown into trash can. If you need something done in SFM, now you know whom to ask. Good job, Zoot.

USSome_Thing

Former staff team

We're grateful for his efforts towards this project and sad to see him leave ;-(

USninjaMooCow

Former Community Moderator

One of the oldest players I know around here; I'm sure I speak on behalf of the TF2C staff when I say we will miss your fatherly advice and warm chatter ;-) Thanks for the many hours your put into this project, Moocow! - MN
